Bruce Jones, born in Columbus, Georgia, is a seasoned developer, landscape designer, and entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in real estate development, property management, and landscape architecture. As President of Woodruff Development Company, Woodruff Property Management Company, and Grow Landscaping, Bruce has been instrumental in shaping the built environment of Columbus and the broader Southeast region.Bruce's early career was marked by his transformative work at Scarborough Farms, where he revitalized the homestead to exude timeless charm. This project, which included the creation of a chapel, boathouse, gardens, and barn, showcased his innate ability to blend historical aesthetics with modern functionality. The success of Scarborough Farms propelled him into the spotlight, leading to features in esteemed publications such as Southern Living, Garden & Gun, and the Rizzoli coffee table book Coming Home.One of Bruce's most ambitious projects is the development of Old Town, a 300-acre mixed-use community in Columbus, Georgia. Envisioned and brought to life by Bruce and his wife, Lucy Jones, Old Town combines the charm of traditional Southern neighborhoods with modern amenities. The community features single-family homes, apartments, offices, retail shops, and restaurants, all designed to foster a sense of connection and community among residents. Old Town has been recognized as a Southern Living Inspired Community and received the National Association of Home Builders' 2016 Platinum Award for "Best Community Facility."In 2016, Bruce and Lucy purchased Woodruff Property Management Company, expanding their leadership in the real estate industry and building a vertically integrated platform encompassing development, property management, and design. Lucy Jones

Beginning her real estate journey in 1997, Lucy joined Woodruff Property Management Company (WPMC) in 2002. In 2016, Lucy and Bruce purchased Woodruff Property Management Company, expanding their leadership in the real estate industry and building a vertically integrated platform encompassing development, property management, and design.  As the President of WPMC, she oversees a diverse portfolio of multifamily properties across Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. Her leadership is characterized by a blend of business acumen and creative intuition, ensuring properties are managed with both efficiency and aesthetic appeal.In addition to her role at WPMC, Lucy is the founder of Marketing & Design with Color (MDWC), a firm specializing in vibrant and innovative design solutions for residential and commercial spaces. Through MDWC, she has transformed numerous properties, infusing them with bold colors and unique design elements that reflect her passion for creativity.Lucy holds real estate licenses in both Georgia and Alabama and is a graduate of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and the Leadership Georgia Program. Her commitment to community service is evident through her participation on various civic boards.Outside of her professional endeavors, Lucy cherishes time with her three daughters and enjoys activities such as shopping, decorating, traveling and meeting new people. David Sheppard

Chief Financial Officer

With over 35 years of real estate, accounting, and banking experience, David brings a wealth of financial and operational acumen to the company. He is responsible for coordinating the financial administration, risk management, audit, forecasting, and reporting of a residential portfolio in excess of six thousand units, and has managed over $1billion in real estate holdings. This includes serving as a liaison between the individual property owners and their respective insurance, lending, and municipal taxing authorities. He has been involved with multiple properties involving HUD 223(f) and 221(d)(4) financing, as well as conventional and syndicated structures. David is a member of the National Apartment Association. He is certified as a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS).Prior to joining Woodruff in 2005, he served as Senior Operations Officer and Vice President of SunTrust Bank, and previously held the position of Controller with Flournoy Construction Company, where he was responsible for all financial accounting management for this large multifamily general contractor.He is a 1989 graduate of Valdosta State University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Finance. David is active in his church, where he has served as Technical Director, Small Group Leader, and as a member of the church finance team.

Leah Shiver

Chief Operations Officer

Leah is the Chief Operating Officer for Woodruff Property Management Company. She is responsible for overseeing operations of the company, product launches, new property onboarding, and property dispositions. Leah graduated from Columbus State University with a degree in Business Management and a minor in International Business. Leah currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Columbus Apartment Association and is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM). Leah is married to Andrew and they have three daughters. On weekends, you can usually find Leah on the beach or in the woods.

Karla Thornton

Human Resources Director

Karla Thornton serves as the Human Resources Director for Woodruff Property Management Company, bringing over 15 years of experience in human resources along with a background in organizational psychology and business administration. Known for her thoughtful and approachable leadership style, Karla is dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting employee growth, and helping teams succeed across the organization.Outside of work, Karla enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and their five children. Whether it’s hiking, relaxing at the beach, or spending a day shopping, she loves making the most of her time outdoors with family.

Alana Mintz

Regional Director / Real Estate Broker / New Business Director / Vice President

Alana Mintz serves as Vice President, Regional Director, Real Estate Broker, and New Business Director for Woodruff Property Management Company, working alongside Lucy Jones to grow the company’s portfolio throughout the Southeast. A licensed real estate broker in both Alabama and Georgia, Alana has built her career around property management and real estate, providing personal service to clients in residential, commercial, student housing, and multifamily real estate. Since joining Woodruff, she has held multiple leadership roles, including Regional Director and Vice President. After obtaining her Alabama Broker’s License, she helped open Woodruff’s Auburn real estate office. Since then, Alana and her team have closed over $100 million in real estate sales across the Southeast.A longtime resident of Sylacauga, Alabama, Alana is married to Clay Mintz and is mom to Austin, Gade Clay, and Chip. She enjoys traveling for work but loves coming home to her small town, where she stays active in the community through coaching, serving on local boards, and participating in service projects alongside her family.

Kevin Smith

Regional Director

Kevin joined the Woodruff Company in 1990 and currently serves as Area Director of 13 different properties – managing relationships with 6 different owners and overseeing over 2200 units. He also oversees the Woodruff Property Management Training program for new employees. He is a member of the Columbus, GA Board of Realtors and holds Real Estate Licenses in Georgia, Louisiana, and Alabama. Kevin graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He was past President of the Columbus and Georgia Apartment Association and is a member of all local apartment associations in the state of Georgia and a member of the National Apartment Association. He is certified as a National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS). Kevin loves Jesus, history, cemeteries, his 3 children and wife, Terry. He can give a heck of an apartment tour!

Amanda Ingle

Regional Director

Amanda brings nearly three decades of multi-family real estate experience to the Woodruff Management Team, having started in the industry in 1996. As Regional Director, she oversees a diverse portfolio of properties, driving operational performance, financial accountability, and team development across multiple markets. With a strong background in training and development, policy and procedure implementation, and organizational leadership, Amanda plays a critical role in executing company initiatives and ensuring consistency across sites. Her expertise includes financial reporting, budgeting, capital project oversight, lender compliance, and insurance inspections, all essential components in maintaining asset value and investor confidence.Amanda has been married to David Ingle for over 30 years, is a mother to three children, and known as Lovey to two Grandchildren. She is an active member of Southside Baptist Church, has served as Team Mom for her children's Little League teams, led her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, and served on the board in many capacities at her children's school. Amanda loves shopping, staying current on the trends, and spending time with her family.

Jennifer is a Regional Director for Woodruff Property Management, overseeing numerous properties in various markets.  Jennifer has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Columbus State University.   Jennifer is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and has her Real Estate Licenses in Georgia and Alabama.   She is very active in the local apartment association, having served as a member of the Board of Directors from 2012-2016 and President from 2015-2016.  Jennifer has won numerous apartment association awards such as 2014 CAA Won Property of the Year with Lullwater, 2014 CAA Won Go Getter of the year award, 2017 CAA Property of the Year with Swallowtail, 2020 CAA Corporate Support of the Year, 2021 CAA Corporate Support of the Year, and the 2021 Extra Mile Award.   Jennifer is married to James and they have two children.

Jasmine Tucker

Assistant Regional Director

Jasmine Tucker is an experienced property management professional with eight years at Woodruff Property Management Company, where she currently serves as Assistant Regional Director. A Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Jasmine has been recognized as Property Manager of the Year in 2021 and Corporate Support Member of the Year in 2023. She also served a two-year term on the Board of Directors for the Greater Columbus Apartment Association.Jasmine has been married to her husband Jim for 30 years, and together they have two beautiful daughters, two wonderful sons-in-law, and four cherished grandchildren.Jasmine is passionate about people and service—both professionally and personally. She has been honored with the St. Joan of Arc medal from the U.S. Cavalry and Armor Association and the Shield of Sparta medal from the National Infantry Association for her volunteer work. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new places, and being part of a company, whose values align with her own.

Lori Bowers

Regional Director

Lori Bowers brings over 13 years of experience in the property management industry, including ten years in military family housing and the past three in conventional multifamily communities. She is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Human Services and holds both ARM and CAM certifications. Lori currently serves as Vice President of the Greater Columbus Apartment Association and is a former secretary of the organization. She was named Woodruff Property Management’s Property Manager of the Year in 2023 and received the Leadership Award in 2024. Outside of work, Lori is a proud softball mom and spends most of her weekends cheering from the ball field sidelines.

Barbara Griswald serves on the corporate support team at Woodruff Property Management Company, where she assists properties with their day-to-day needs and helps ensure teams have the tools and resources to operate smoothly. Since joining Woodruff in 2015, she has been known for her dependable nature and willingness to help wherever she’s needed, playing an important role in keeping operations running efficiently across the portfolio.

Barbara is married to her husband, Randy, and together they have four sons and two grandchildren. She loves traveling, whether it’s exploring new places or revisiting favorite destinations, and treasures time spent with her family. Whether at home or on the road, Barbara values making lasting memories with the people she loves most.

Dalit Maltba

Marketing Director / Corporate Support / Regional Assistant

With over 20 years of experience in the multi-family housing industry, Dalit brings deep knowledge and unmatched dedication to her dual roles as Marketing Director and Assistant Regional Director. Throughout her career, she has worked her way up from Leasing Agent to Assistant Manager, Training Director, and now serves in a leadership capacity where she combines her passion for people with her expertise in operations and marketing.Dalit supports day-to-day operations across the company, with a primary focus on Entrata support. She plays a vital role in property takeovers and turnovers, setup services, Entrata implementation, auditing, and company-wide operational support. As Marketing Director, she oversees all promotional item orders, company signage, digital images, and staff uniforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and brand alignment across all communities.Dalit has achieved many milestones over the years, but she considers her greatest accomplishment to be her ability to turn a negative situation into a positive one. Whether it’s by listening, understanding, or finding the right solution, she takes pride in making someone's day better through empathy and problem-solving.Outside of work, Dalit is a proud military wife and devoted mother, her son is her world. She loves animals and spending time in nature. Her passions include supporting soldiers and their families, helping those in need, cooking traditional dishes from her culture, and decorating for holidays and special occasions.

Clair Youngstrom

Digital Marketing Director

Clair Youngstrom is the Digital Marketing Director for Woodruff Property Management Company. She began her career with the company in August 2022 as a leasing agent and later transitioned into a property manager role before stepping into her current position. With experience in onsite operations and a passion for creative strategy, Clair loves helping teams connect with residents and bring their communities to life online. She takes pride in crafting engaging content, building strong digital campaigns, and supporting properties across the portfolio with tools that drive results. She was named Employee of the Month in 2023 and received the Woodruff Way Award in 2024—recognitions that reflect her dedication and heart for the work she does.Clair has been married to her best friend, Zach, since October 2022. They enjoy cooking meals together, hiking, and spending weekends with friends and family. She also loves baking, traveling, surfing, and can often be found on the pickleball court in her free time.

Beth Morrison

Quality Assurance Director

Beth has been with Woodruff Property Management Company for over 25 years. She ensures company safety, compliance, function, and efficiency for all properties. She reviews internal processes for site teams to be effective, timely, and thorough and monitors and protects property liability concerns. Beth loves time with family! She is married and has two sons. She loves the beach, cooking and any outside activities.

Jessica Griffith

Training Director

Jessica began her career in property management in 2019 and joined WPMC in the summer of 2021. She has earned her Certified Apartment Manager certification and brings a strong background in operations and a passion for people development. In her role, she supports both on-site teams and corporate initiatives, assisting with daily operations, training rollout, compliance tracking, and collaborating with regional leadership to promote high performance across all properties.As a military spouse and mother of three, Jessica brings a nurturing, growth-focused mindset to her work. She thrives on helping others succeed and is passionate about creating “aha” moments that lead to personal and professional growth for individuals, teams, and communities.

Christi Thomley

Property Accountant

Christi Thomley is a dedicated accounting professional with over a decade of experience in financial reporting and account reconciliation across multifamily, construction, and commercial real estate. Known for her strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, Christi has helped streamline processes and ensure compliance for a variety of organizations throughout her career.Outside of work, Christi enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and their two sons. They love spending sunny days on the lake, traveling together, and making memories with their two dogs by their side.

Peggy VanHouten

Originally from Rochester, New York, Peggy VanHouten serves as Recruiting Director for Woodruff Property Management Company. She began her career in management and sales in the mid-1980s before transitioning to staffing and recruiting, where she spent 15 years connecting talented people with new opportunities as Vice President of Staffing Connections. During that time, she developed a passion for matching exceptional talent with thriving businesses and earned her Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) designation through the American Staffing Association.

In early 2025, Peggy joined Woodruff Property Management Company to continue her work in the staffing and recruiting industry, now focusing her expertise on talent acquisition for the company’s growing portfolio. Her career has been defined by building lasting relationships based on trust and serving as a strategic partner in navigating the ever-changing landscape of recruitment.

Outside of work, Peggy enjoys time at the beach and cherishes moments with her family, who inspire and fuel her passion for making a meaningful impact in all she does.
